Request deletion of your KeepJoy account and data
Follow the steps below to start a deletion request, see exactly which data is erased, what is retained temporarily, and how long any retention lasts.
Submit request in-app
Open KeepJoy → Profile → Settings → Account → Delete my account. Confirm the request and the email you used to sign in.
Or email us directly
Send an email to contact.keepjoy@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my account" from your sign-in email. Include any linked sign-in method.
Verification & timing
We verify ownership and start deletion within 3 business days. Most data is removed within 30 days; backups clear within 30-45 days.
What we delete
What is retained temporarily (and why)
Operational logs - up to 30 days
Limited logs (e.g., service events) remain briefly for security, abuse prevention, and audit trails. They auto-expire within 30 days.
Backups - cleared within 30-45 days
Encrypted backups roll off on their normal cycle. Your deleted records disappear from backups within 30-45 days after processing.
Payment & receipts - retained per law
Store transaction records (Apple / Google) are kept for tax, fraud, and accounting compliance for up to 7 years; they do not include your card details.
Support emails - up to 90 days
If you email us, the thread may remain for up to 90 days so we can resolve your request and meet legal obligations, then it is removed or anonymized.
Need help or want to revoke a request?
Contact Support
Email contact.keepjoy@gmail.com and include the email tied to your account. We aim to respond within 3 business days.
Pause or cancel deletion
If you change your mind before deletion is complete, email us immediately. Once the account and backups are purged, recovery is not possible.
